“ Excellent molchajete, excellent location if you have a small wait you can go for a nice walk, hold hands and window shop. Def worth the wait ”
“ This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Denver. Their food is amazing! My go to item is the vegan pozole verde! I am not vegan but it is that good of a recipe that they are making here. There is usually a pretty long wait time during peak hours so make a reservation or be prepared to put your name in and walk downtown Littleton while you wait. The service is always great and they make a genuine connection with you while they are working. The ambiance is great with a lot of Hispanic themed stuff on the walls and the displays. They have live music every now and again. Highly recommend this place and you can't go wrong with their taco Tuesday deal! Give it a try! ”
“ This place has been a go to since it opened. The food is always exceptional. We particularly like the Sopas as an appetizer. My favorite entree is the Rellenos. Any variety or sauce is great. Each Relleno is huge so one entree is plenty to split. ”
“ Wow wow wow, the food here is absolutely insanely delicious. My friend and I had some tamales on a Thursday night when they're only $5 and that alone was worth writing home about! But so much more is good here: The margaritas, the fajitas, the chips and guacamole. I loved everything that I tried. Downside, if you're eating at the bar - it can be a little slow. And parking is a pain! But worth it all for the great food and vibes inside. ”
“ Food is always fresh and delicious. Love the selection of Mezcal, and their Margaritas. Ambiance is very comfortable and friendly... just missing the beach and ocean! Definitely a favorite ”
“ This Mexican restaurant never disappoints! The service is always pleasant and welcoming. They offer a spacious bar area along with a comfortable dining room. We ordered the steak quesadilla, which was perfectly juicy and tender, with poblano peppers and mushrooms adding incredible flavor. My personal favorite is the sautéed camarones in chipotle mushroom cream sauce--juicy, smoky shrimp paired with a sauce that's truly out of this world. We got some churros for a dessert and they were stuffed with chocolate and served alongside a rich caramel sauce. Every visit here is a great experience! ”
“ Food, Service and ambience are stellar. Our fav go to for Mexican. They have parking for restaurant goers behind the building . The main dining hall has two parts one overlooking Main Street with glass doors and another setting for booth by the bar. Also an upstairs patio dining . Lots of Vegetarian options. The molcajete veggies and fajitas are good portion sizes and filling. The chips and guacamole are phenomenal. Must try! ”
“ Popped in for weekday happy hour. The happy hour drink specials are just okay- it's still $8 for a house margarita, which I don't really consider happy hour pricing. The tamales are a GREAT deal at $3/ each, and they're big. I would have just ordered a couple of those instead of tacos. On Taco Tuesday, all of their tacos are $2 and their fish tacos are $4. That's a pretty good deal, especially since you can pick which tacos you want. Their menu and printouts could be clearer on what exactly the discounted pricing for happy hour and daily specials cover, but we were able to clarify with the server. Don't fall for the upsell though- the server was asking every table "would you like to start off with some chips and salsa and guacamole?" and my in laws automatically said yes. Chips and salsa are $1.50 on the happy hour menu but the server charged us for a chips/salsa/guac entree which was an absurd $12. It was a large portion but still- a bit sneaky. I guess that's how they make up for the $2 Tuesday tacos. And then as other reviewers have highlighted- they try to get you to tip 25%, by having that as the first option for you when you're inputting a tip. Overall, a decent place to grab a bite and a drink. ”
“ My brother and I enjoyed another delicious lunch at Palenque on Sunday. My michelada was outstanding, really one of the best I've ever had. I had the chile rellanos again since I enjoyed them so my on my last visit. The music in the dining room was unbearably loud for lunch on a Sunday (but would have been perfect for 11 pm on a Saturday). We ended up moving to the bar (how often do people leave the dining room for the bar looking for quiet?!?) so we could have a conversation. ”
